Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on Wednesday, November 22, 1978 to parents Dennis William & Vickie Lynn Scherzer. She was baptized in the Baptist faith & was a Counselor with Our Lady of Hope.
Christy is preceded in death by her father, Dennis William Scherzer; grandparents, Floyd & Geraldine Phillips and Joan & Norbert Scherzer; & her aunt, Nora “Cathy” Phillips.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Vickie Lynn Scherzer; aunt, Judy Corum; cousins, Lisa Corum & Brian Corum; best friend, Brittany Collier; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
