Christopher Lee Rogers, 49, “Guru of Guitar Repair,“ was a 1982 graduate of PRP High School and attended the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School. He was a talented guitar player, who could repair any stringed instrument and all types of sound equipment. He loved his pet Beagles: Junior, Snoop Dogg and Rocko.
He is survived by his father, Jerry Rogers; his mother and step-dad, Diana and William A. Motsch, Sr.; siblings, Sandy Smiddy (Wayne), William A. Motsch, Jr. (Shawna), Cynthia Bragg (Marc), Dr. Christine Motsch Lee, DMD (Gary), Dena Rogers Greer (Patrick) and Danielle Rogers; nieces, Jennifer Morgan and Elizabeth Greer; nephew, Matthew Greer; many fellow musicians, and the rest of his wonderful extended family.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM with inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
