Christopher Joseph Darst

Chris attended St Martha gradeschool and Trinity High School.

He was a warehouse associate of Dart Entities in Indiana. Prior to that, he worked for Amazon.

But his passion was woodworking, which he did for a living for many years.

Chris had many hobbies. In his younger days you might see him rollerblading at Iroquois Park or walking in a local park. He loved the outdoors.

He had a great love for the creepy crawly population and had many reptilian pets over the years.

Chris was a licensed drone pilot and was just starting a business taking drone shots for businesses and home owners.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Mary Anne Jolly (Dennis), Annie Darst (Jim Denny), Tim Darst (Angela Lincoln), Tony Darst (Dottie), Mary Emma Johnson (Adam), and Tammy Morgan (Ross); step-siblings, Victoria Schmied (Roger), Carla Richardson, Sharon Winstead Kaelin (Frank), Debbie Klicos (George), Neal Roberts, and Bill Roberts; niece, Hannah Walker.

He was preceded in passing by his brother, Troy Darst.

A time for gathering will take place on Tuesday May 9th, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville or to the Hildegard House.
