Christine Maddox, 93, died Monday, June 27, 2016 at Friendship House in Louisville. She was born September 24, 1922 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Alma (Robins) Finely. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Maddox. She was a loving mother and grandmother who collected dolls and enjoyed sewing in her younger years.
She is survived by her son, James Wardrip (Linda); sister, Bernice Macey; grandchildren, Lisa Vann and Greg Whitaker; and great grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Ethan, and Aidan.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Arch L. Heady and Son Southern Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3701 Taylor Blvd. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
