Christina M. Diaz

Christina (Christi) Diaz (Breehl), 44, of Louisville, KY passed away May 26, 2020. Christi was born in Louisville in 1976. She graduated from Butler High School – class of 1995. She also attended University of Kentucky from 1995-1996. She was most recently employed with Altruis as a Payment Poster. Most of her career was working in the financial world in banking, mortgages, and customer service. Christi was a beautiful mother who loved on her four kids, Lily (step), Joshua, Mackenzie, and Noah. She was constantly joking and having fun with the kids – a gene she got from her daddy. Christi was a mini version of her mom, Debbie with a stubbornness for the ages. Christi’s daughter Mackenzie was quickly becoming a mini version of Christi. She was a HUGE UK fan, and would get all dressed up in her UK apparel just to watch them play basketball on a Tuesday night. She was very actively involved in the kids’ education, and was constantly in communication with their schools and teachers. She absolutely loved having a large (well over a hundred and counting) extended family right in Louisville with her.

Visitation will be 11am-7pm Tuesday, June 2 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213. The funeral service will be private on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
