Lee, Charles “Charlie” E., 59, entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2017. Charlie was a loving and caring man who appreciated spending time with his loved ones. He was a DeSales High School alumnus. Charlie taught himself how to play the guitar and enjoyed playing for his family. He also enjoyed playing basketball in his younger years and then later, tennis. Charlie was also a life-long UofL Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Spalding and Mary Lee; sister, Mary Faye Schum; and brother-in-law, Dan Carr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa; children, Jessica Lee (Victor), Bryan Lee, and Samantha Lee; sisters, Margaret Wihlon (Armin), Dorothy Carr, Hazel Hardesty (Hurschel), and Betty Brown (Jimmy); sister-in-law, Theresa Martin (Jim); brothers-in-law, Thomas Barr (Robin) and Dave Schum; in-laws, Tom and Ann Barr; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Please join the family during this time to reflect on Charlie’s life.
