DIGGS, CHARLES W., Sr., 80 passed away February 19, 2012.
Charles served his country in the U. S. Navy, was a long time member of Kosair Scottish Rite and Masonic Lodge 850. He was also a faithful member of Parkland Baptist Church.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Naomi Diggs; children Tech Staff Sg. Charles W. Diggs Jr. (Julia), Sharon Survance (John) and Deborah Smith (Bob), brother Joe Diggs (Norma Jean); five beautiful grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service honoring the life of Charles will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday and will resume Friday morning at 9 a.m. until the start of the funeral.
