He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Denise Kay Probus, his father, James William Probus, his brother, Christopher Probus, nephew Tanner Probus, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Eva Nalley Probus.
Chuck was an avid music lover and most enjoyed going to concerts and shows. He was crazy about animals and adopting them from shelters. He was a member of the CMP and enjoyed competition shooting. Chuck was a graduate of Trinity Highschool.
Chuck loved his U of K football and could be heard cheering them on down the block. He was a genuine good man, kind and gentle with many life-long friends and he will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Arch L. Heady and Son - Cralle Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Chuck’s name to The Kentucky Humane Society 1000 Lyndon Ln. Louisville, KY 40222.
