Catherine Marie Isbell 83, passed away Saturday, June 22nd, at Baptist Hospital Palliative Care Unit. She was born January 15, 1930 to the late Henry K. and Leona Kremer Jochum. She was retired from the Kentucky Exposition Center, a longtime member of Ascension Catholic Church, and their choir.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Neal F. Isbell, children; Sharon Powell (Charles) their children; Jason Powell (Tracy), Jessica and Julie Powell, Lisa Barnes, her children; Nick and Zack Barnes, Kevin Isbell (Dana) their child; Erika Isbell. Her sisters; Leona Quickert, Veronica Bayer (Bert), and Theresa Huff along with several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial and Life Celebration, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ascension Catholic Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr. with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
