She was born to the late Edith and Carl North in Yates City, Illinois in 1925. Louise married the love of her life, Gerald "Burky" Burkhalter in 1943 and moved to Galesburg, Illinois where they raised four children. Upon retirement they moved to Punta Gorda, Florida, where Gerald passed away in 1984. In 1992 she married Kenny Anderson, who passed in 2005.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, three siblings, grandson Michael Burkhalter, son Larry Burkhalter and son-in-law, Michael Small.
Left to cherish her memory are sons; Gerald C. Burkhalter (Patricia), Steve Burkhalter (JoAnn) and daughter, Kathy Small, 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place at a later date within Resthaven memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
