Mr. Johnson was a gift from God. I have very wonderful memories of his days of volunteering in our classroom at King Elementary School just down the street from his house. I will always be grateful I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Johnson and his beautiful wife.

To Cousin Annie Mae and all of  my 2nd Cousins...my condolences to each of you on the passing of Cousin Cary.  He and my Mom (Minnie) were very close first cousins...it is so ironic that these two very close cousins would take wings and fly home to glory in the same year! I have wonderful, vivid memories of you all staying with us in Rochester NY, when you all would drive all the way up from KY to visit! Unfortunately we are reconnecting during this time of bereavement, but as the days go by, may you find comfort and peace as you reflect on the precious memories of your Dad & Husband. Brother Johnson's life was a Blessing, his memory is a treasure. His love beyond words; Missed beyond treasure. I'm terrible sadden to hear about his death, however I know he is in a better place. May God bless his family during there time of need. As my Mason brother he was a highly respected man.

Mr Johnson was a man of few words but many smiles. I am blessed and highly favored to have had him as a part of my life! I love you Robin, Moma,Carla,Sharon and Caryn.

Words can not express the sorrow I felt when Robin sent the text that Daddy had passed. Now... Words can not express the joy in my heart that Daddy suffers no longer and has gone Home to be with The Lord.  Moma, Carla,Sharon,Sissy & my bestfriend since 7th grade Robin, I have called you all my family for more than 20yrs and as family I am now and will always keep you covered in prayer. Sorrow may endure for a night, but JOY cometh in the morning! I love you Family

    My Uncle Buddy was someone I could consider a 2nd father and help me understand how to do hard work and selfless service. We use to cut grass at St Stephan's when the church was real small and also the Pastor's yard. Don't remember if he even paid me ;-) and I wasn't even a member of the church either. 
   He was a Man known to many in Louisville and was the only person who could smoke in my Mom's (his sister's house) 
   He will truly be missed but never forgotten.
