Carolyn Stewart, age 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Carolyn was born on November 23, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Roy Robinson and Mabel Bingham Robinson.
She retired from JCPS as Administrative Secretary after 20 years of dedicated service. Carolyn was a former charter member of Heavenly Heights Christian Church and was currently an active member of Hikes Point Christian Church. Carolyn was a devote and loyal Christian, she was a follower of Jesus and dedicated her loyalty to teaching vacation bible school and sunday school.
Left to cherish Carolyn's memory is her loving son, Troy Compton and a host of loving friends and extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY, 40213. A service to honor the life of Carolyn will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
