Carolyn Seraphine

Seraphine, Jane Carolyn “Carol”, 68, entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2015. Carol was a devout Christian who attended Highview Baptist Church. She retired after many years as property manager with Gene Glick Corporation. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. “Gramma” spent most of her time loving, caring, and indulging her 12 grandchildren. Carol and Jim also enjoyed the friendship of their second family, “The Pinochle Club”, who have been together for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Varieda Brown, and brother, Donald L. Brown.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 50 years, Jim; sons, Jimmy (Nicole), Jeff (Christi), and Jason (Stephanie); grandchildren, Caden, Kylie, Cole, Jeffrey II, Dane, Josi, Shaw, Graham, Piper, Lucas, Jameson, and Caroline; sister, Marilyn Cundiff (Steve); and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday at 4:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00pm-9:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm-3:00pm with the family taking a break until service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
