Carolyn E. Ernst, 74 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, January 26th 2017. She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and was retired from Kroger after 31 years of service. She is preceded in passing by her husband of 50 years: George E. Ernst Jr.; her parents: Charles & Norma Logsdon; stepmother: Mary Elizabeth Logsdon. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charlie Ernst (Tonya), & Stephanie Jeffries (Ryan); 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister: Anna Marie Connolly; and a host of other family members and friends. A funeral mass for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, January 31st 2017 10am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville KY 40219; burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 30th from 2-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219.
