Carol Ann Bommersbach, 80, of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 in her home. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Odus and Lucille King on February 17, 1945. Carol was a devout Catholic, a homemaker for many years and worked at Kingfish from 1988 until 2008.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Lewis Patrick “Bommer”; and all of her siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy Carney (Andy) of Lebanon Junction, KY. and Louie Bommersbach of Crestwood, KY; grandchildren, Dustin Bruner (Brianna) of Harrodsburg, KY with a great grandbaby boy on the way, and Heather Carney of Shepherdsville, KY; many extended family and dear friends.
Per Carol’s wishes she will be cremated. A celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
Carol donated to several charities. Memorial donations in Carol’s honor should be directed to your favorite charity.
