Carmen was born on September 9, 1961 in Germany on a US Military Base to Carroll & Ursula (Faro) McClellan. She was highly regarded by those who knew her, having attended the Shively Police Academy and was a manager for KC Food Mart where she regularly worked eighty or more hour weeks. On March 21, 1986, she married James (Jimmy) Charles Moore. She raised one child, son, Jeffrey James Moore. Carmen had a passion for big cats. Tigers, leopards and others. She once had to have people pull her off a big cat because she was hugging it's neck far too much, but the cat didn't mind, it adored her, too. While she didn't have much else in the way of favorites it was because she found most everything to be beautiful and likable. She had a grand heart full of an abundance of feeling. Having felt things on a deeply emotional level, in tune with humanity and therein it's problems. She never was shy to confront a problem, personal or foreign, and meet that challenge with an unwavering compassion and dedication for others and herself.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Ursula McClellan.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 34 years, James Moore; son, Jeff Moore; brother, Michael Faro; sister, Angela Woods; sisters-in-law, Joan Escobedo, Susie Singer, Tee Moore; brother-in-law, George Moore; several nieces and nephews and more.
