He was the retired, Owner and Operator of Carlos Allen Builders and Developers, he was also a member of, the Blue Lick United Baptist Church, 4271 East Blue Lick Road, Lou., KY 40229.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Anita Allen; children, Jewel Jackson, (Tommy), Bradley Allen, (Trina), Amber Vaughn, (Jerry) and Paul Allen, (Melissa); 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at his church with burial following in the Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
