Carl E. Sauer Jr.

He attended Trinity High School, retired from Ursuline Campus, he was head concierge and ambassador at O'Shea's Pub for 25 years, was an avid music lover of Doo-Wop and Rock and roll, a fan of the Louisville Cardinals, and spent time volunteering with Dare to Care.

He was a 28-year member of the Elks Lodge, a Loyal Knight, served on the house committee, and often stepped up above and beyond the call of duty.

Carl is now reunited his youngest son Greg Sauer, his paternal grandparents William Sr and Cecilia Sauer and maternal grandparents Lewis Lloyd and Martha Elizabeth Harden

He is survived by his children, Lori M. Lively (Spouse Mark), Carl 'Iggy' Sauer III, Curtis Sauer (Spouse Amy) , Parents, Carl Sr., and Judy Sauer, Siblings Thomas Sauer Sr. (Spouse Desiree), Kevin W. Sauer (Spouse Janet), Grandkids Ariel Lamkin, Austin Oehler, and 2 great-grandchildren Olivia and Madison Lamkin (with one more on the way!), his sweetheart Brenda Price and many Nieces and Nephews

Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Arch L. Heady - Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
