Carl was born to Carl & Patricia Lawrence on October 21, 1958. He met his sweetheart at Hardee’s in 1975. They wed on May 5, 1978 and built a beautiful life together.
Carl was retired from the Kroger store on Poplar Level Rd. He loved fishing, gardening, muscle cars, scratching lottery tickets, and spending time with his family. He was an avid UK fan and dog lover. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he served as an usher, volunteered at fish fries, cut grass, and bonded with many friends. He also volunteered at the Franciscan Kitchen.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Susan Lawrence; children, Patrick (Jackie) Lawrence, Sara (Brandon) Mack; grandchildren, Andy, Cailynn, Jack and Ben; parents, Carl & Patricia Lawrence; siblings, Sharon, Butch, Karen, Darren and Brian. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Evergreen Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Rd., Louisville, Kentucky 40213.
