Bryce Bishop, Jr., 76, of Louisville, passed away at his second home in Florida on March 27, 2010, with his loving family at his side. He was a native of Teges, KY., and retired owner and operator of Trailer Convoys Inc. Byrce was a U.S. Army reservist and a member of the Masonic Lodge #400 F. & A.M. He loved to grow roses, both here and in Florida; The Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs were some of his favorite places to go.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sweetheart of 56 years, Mary Helen Flanery Bishop; his son, Jeff Bishop (Sue); granddaughters, Jane and Jiffy Bishop; brothers, Steve (Maxine) and James "J.P." Bishop; sister, Mildred Byrd (Herbert) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Bryce's Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
