W. Bryan Taylor (57) left us peacefully June 20, 2016 while holding his devoted wife’s hand (Kit Taylor). He was an amazing son to his loving parents (Marilyn and Powell Taylor) who will miss his all encompassing octopus hugs and willingness to serve without hesitation. He was a dedicated father to two driven daughters (Emily, 26 and Erin, 22) who learned from their ‘Popsicle’ both the importance of a kind smile to a stranger and that anything can be figured out if you understand a little about a lot. His goofy personality will also be missed by his older brother (Kent), extended family, and friends (whom he always considered family). Bryan spent most of his life in Louisville and is best remembered as dedicating his time between taking care of his family and utilizing his skills as a craftsman with his MacGyver-esque ingenuity.
We will celebrate Bryan’s life on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Arch L. Heady and Son Westport Village, 4710 Westport Rd. with visitation from 4-7PM, followed by a memorial service at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to KODA.
