You were so bright and bold. I never got to tell you, Bruce, that you were the older brother I never had.... make that the brother I did have. You inspired me and gave me straightforward guidance at every point in my writing career. Your firm beliefs coupled with your openness to change were an example I will always rely on. You will live on in me, my friend.

Bruce and Robin, I wish i could pick up the phone right now and hear your sweet voicess. I've never missed a friend so very much. You wll be in our hearts forever.

Robin, I am so sorry to read today on our unit website about the loss of Bruce. Our prayers are with you and Bruce's family.  Bruce was a great friend.

I was sent to Paducah at while all the fur was still flying. When I got there I found a guy holding the media and public invlovement work together with determination as his primary resource. For the next six years, we were joined at the hip and on the written page, on poster board and tour routes, in meetings and in hearings. He never gave up, never said it was all too much, never left my side. A huge piece of me is gone, and I know it can only be harder for Robin and the Gardner family. See you later, my friend.

Condolences to the Gardner family and Robin.  I still can't believe Bruce is gone.  A life cut too short.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bruce was an amazing writer, trivia player, and truth-teller.  He produced exceptional work where ever he went.  As a friend he was incredibly generous and unfailingly kind to me over and over.  I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of his death.  I offer my sincerest, deepest sympathy to his family.  Know that I will miss him.

I really enjoyed working with Bruce at PRS in Paducah (Kevil). His constant humor and upbeat attitude made the job demands a little more bearable. He always provided positive, professional support to the work we did there and was a tremendous asset to our team. Everyone that knew him will miss him.

Ah, Bruce.  You are a part of some of my fondest memories at the Paducah Sun.  May you find peace -- and an awesome bridge game -- in heaven.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Bruce in person, I truly enjoyed my working relationship with him.  His wit and humor were bright spots in some stressful times as we worked together on projects.  He was a talented writer and a real asset to our ResCare team.  Bruce has gone on to a better place; my prayer is that his family and friends will find peace and comfort in that knowledge.

Although I only had the pleasure of knowing Bruce for a short period, he had endeared himself to me and the rest of our program development team at ResCare. We are all shocked and grief-stricken, and will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
