Bruce D. Cairns, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He retired from the Army after 20 years of service. He then drove the UofL Athletics bus for 10 years.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Betty Cairns.

Left to cherish Bruce’s memory is his loving wife, Susan Gilbert; children, Paul Cairns (Holly), Kelly Buell (Mike); grandchildren, Ben Buell, Brooke Buell, Alexis Farrell, Marcus Butler, Bailey Farrell; great grandchild, Arabella McGlothlin; and brother, Larry Cairns (Mona).

The Committal Service will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Evergreen Cemetery at 10:00am.

The family of Bruce D. Cairns will be having a Celebration of Life on December 21, 2019 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Affairs of the Heart Florist, 415 Meig Ave. in Jeffersonville, IN.
