THARP, BRIAN MARTIN "BARNEY," 52, of South Louisville passed away Monday September 16, 2013. He worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, and an Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Case) Tharp; son, Casey Besaw; stepson, Ronnie Marcum; brothers, Denis and Wayne Tharp; sisters, Vivian Surace, Rita Manning and Cathy Jarvis; his one and only grandson, Jayden Ober; his aunts, Elizabeth Lardner, Margarett Tharp, and Elizabeth Montjoy; his mother in-law, Sandra Karnes; his two special companions, Annabelle Lee and Nicki Dootles; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends after noon on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services for Brian will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L.
