Brett Lavon Zuver, age 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Brett was born in Hillsdale Michigan on October 27, 1961.
Brett was an Assistant Starter for Churchill Downs for 10 plus years and an exercise rider at Churchill Downs and Flint Stables. He was also a bull and bronc rider, winning several buckles throughout his career and a very successful jockey. Brett loved shooting, being outdoors, cooking and his mule. Most of all he loved his family and friends.
His daughter, Jodi Zuver preceded Brett in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Maurice and Judy Walsh Zuver, daughter, Joey Zuver and son Kash Zuver, siblings, Darlene Zuver Vick and Brian Zuver.
