Brenda D. Higgs, 72, of Louisville, passed away January 31, 2018. Her parents Henry Stinson and Inez Minton and five siblings welcomed her at the gates of heaven. Brenda has left to cherish her memory, her husband of 32 years Jim Higgs; children, Angela Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Jr. (Brandy), Scott Higgs (Lisa), David Higgs ( Denise),siblings; Sue Henry (Tom), Carl Stinson; her dear nephew River Stinson along with many loving nieces and nephews; grandchildren Garron, Breena, Dylan, Lauren, Josh, Meagan, Erin and Zach; and great-grandchildren; Remy, Riley and Lucas.
A celebration of life ceremony for Brenda will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at 12:00 PM at advantage Funeral Home Hardy chapel. Burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday February 4, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, 10907 Dixie Highway.
