Brenda Carol Cheatham, 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan! She would argue with any UofL fan that UK was better. She loved her family more than anything. She was proud to be a Mom, but loved being a Nana. She loved animals, especially her grand-furs...she spoiled them rotten. She would do anything for the people she loved. Brenda never met a stranger, everywhere she went she made a friend. She could strike up a conversation about anything with anyone.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Ruby “Mamaw” Cheatham; brother, Larry Cheatham; and sister, Shirley Cheatham.
Left to cherish Brenda’s memory is her daughter, Krista Cheatham (Michael Talley); grandson, Brayden Talley; grand-furs, Rocky, Tobi, Jazz, Belle; siblings, Jean Dean, Charlie Cheatham (Doris), Willie Cheatham (Lisa); sister-in-law, Sandra "Kay" Cheatham; several nieces, nephews, and extended family as well as dear friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 1pm until 8pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home – Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy 40219. Memory sharing is at 7pm in the visitation room. Cremation will follow.
