Brenda Sue Brown

Brenda retired from Kroger’s after 30+ years of service and was a devout Christian who was a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church. She loved playing pinochle with her close friends and spending time at the boat. Earlier in life she socialized at the CB club and went square dancing, but later in life her joy came from watching her great-grandson’s basketball games.

She is survived by her son, Danny Joe Brown; sister who was more like a daughter, Sissy; grandchildren, Rebecca, Christina, and Tammy; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, K.P., Bradley, Kayleigh, and Derek; siblings, Debbie, Charlotte, Randy, Lana, Debbie, and Toni; and countless other great friends and family.

Brenda was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 43 years, Danny Brown; siblings, Pat, Tresia, Jerry, Christine, and Ronnie.

Visitation will take place at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd, on Saturday May 13th, from 4-8 PM, and on Sunday, May 14th, from 4-8 PM. A funeral to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, May 15th at 1 PM officiated by Pastor Austin Wynn, she will be entombed at Resthaven Memorial Park following the service.
