Bonnie, best known to her family as Mom and Grandma, was very loved and will be missed. She lived fully, never doing anything in moderation. She taught us all many lessons about the importance of relentless devotion to family, perseverance and hard work, and always making sure everyone had enough to eat. She could often be found at the ball park, where she loved watching her grandkids play ball. She grew up in Louisville, graduating from PRP High School in 1968. She worked passionately as a realtor for 51 years, where she brought joy to families around Kentucky as they found a home to build their lives in.
Her memory will forever be cherished in the lives of her family: her husband of 55 years, Joseph Richardson, Sr.; daughter, Kelly Jo Kitchen; son, Joseph Richardson, Jr. (Marie); five grandchildren and one great grandchild, Dylan Kitchen (Kaylee), Danielle Kitchen, Hunter Richardson, Colt Richardson, Cameron Hupp (Aalieyah), and Oaklynn Hupp; three sisters, and one brother.
We would love for you to come and celebrate her life at Heady Hardy Funeral Home at 7710 Dixie Highway on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 6pm. Visitation will start at 12pm and go until the time of service on Friday. A graveside service will follow on Saturday at 10am CDT at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy to be given to Kelly Kitchen to assist Bonnie's loving nurse, Taylor, for her first time home purchase.
