Billie blessed family and friends daily by sharing her joy and love. I’m thankful to have had such a very special friend.

My boys loved you Ms. Billie more than you know. And your warm oven baked cookies.

My MaMa was my saving Grace. She took me in without hesitation and did so much more than "put me through highschool". She worked so hard to let me experience things that would've never been possible without her. She never let me feel alone and did everything in her power to give me the best years of my life while in her care. She woke up early to take me to school, every day. And every day, she was there to pick me up in her red Honda CR-V.  She showed up early to all of my school productions, that she had watched me work so hard on for months prior, and congratulated me at the end of each showing. She helped me pick out my prom dress, assuring me that it was the most flattering. She never complained about anything she had to do for me, and she did the very most, always with a smile. I never felt like a burden, although she always planned her own life around me. I will forever miss those nights that we'd sit next to each other on the couch, binge watching our favorite shows. And I'll always remember where things belong in her kitchen, because of the many hours we spent together in it. When I get the chance, I will always grab that blanket we used in the driveway to lay our heads on to watch shooting stars. I miss the spontaneous Kroger trips, and trips to Sams Club just to taste all of their samples 😆. The countless midday naps we took in her comfy bed, as there will never be another nap to compare. There are so many things that remind me that I had the best MaMa in the world. I will never stop talking about her, and I will always be so proud to be her granddaughter. As selfish as I want to be to have just had her a little longer, I am at peace knowing she is no longer suffering and rejoicing in Heaven doing her most favorite things. I will always hold onto the last "there's my Graci" I heard her speak, and am always thankful that my own sweet baby girl got to experience her love. I love you MaMa, and there isn't a day to come I won't think of you. 💔

Billie was so funny at times she could make you laugh at yourself. We started out on vacation one summer day with me driving, I turned the corner of her street took another left and she was yelling stop stop get out. I said why Billie looked at me and said we are not picking apples we are going to the beach, I look up and we were setting in an apple orchard that I had never seen before. Needless to say she drove and I ate the rest of the way.

Aunt Billie was not only a beautiful person outside. She was a beautiful person throughout. She always loves you no matter what she sure will be missed always had that beautiful smile, and laughing. I could call her sometimes and ask her for some chocolate chip cookies or nannies, homemade potato soup, and she always came through so many memories she will never be forgotten in my eyes rest in peace and Billyie I love you verymuch.

Billie was mine and Deborah Oliver friend. We went to the Dander Corps (Salvation Army) together. She was full of laughter, love, heart of pure gold. We went to Girl Guards , trips with the church, and even rang the bells at Christmas for our church. I can see her now, in her Salvador Army uniform. There was never a dull moment with her around. Now slumber parties, if you go to sleep here came the shaving cream. She would get you. There was so much laughter, fun times, great times for her, Deborah and I. She has a beautiful family. So sorry for your loss. Prayers uplifting for family 🙏. Billie Go Rest High On That Mountain.

Billie and I were on the same team at YUM Brands for a few years.  She was so fun to be with, and we all reaped the benefits of her amazing baking.  She was always so gracious to share her oatmeal lace and chocolate chip cookies with everyone.  She talked about her daughters, and Gracie and Chayton all the time. She loved all of you so much.   I’m grateful for the chance to know her.  May she rest in peace.

I don't have pictures of Billie but I will greatly miss having her as a neighbor and I know my sassy girls will too. She was so sweet and worked hard so my pups wouldn't sass her through the fence when I got them years ago. Instead of yelling "stranger danger" she taught them to say "I see you.  I'm here for my cookie!"  My little Dana runs straight to Billie's corner to look for her every time she goes out. 

I know she's reunited with her own fur children and pray for all who she leaves behind.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Billie through her friend Pam, which I know. I met Pam through my friend Patti. Patti, Pam, Billie and I had lunch. We immediately hit it off. We became FB buddies. Billie Lewis was one of a kind. She brought the sweets, the snacks, the treats, and the love and hilarity to any get together, most often in my life, to our house on Bellaire at the pool. She was always in a good mood, so loving and kind. She referred to my mom as “Kimmie Lewis” often and they were very close. I miss those days. She will be missed by many, and will be loved and cherished forever.

Billie occasionally joined our annual girl's trip we take every November. When she left this particular trip, she was on her way to meet her girls in Nashville for a concert. She was the sweetest person to be around. She was always positive and a joy to be around. She dearly loved her family. I am so sorry she has left us all to soon, but know she is in a better place. Sending my love and condolences to her family.

You were so welcoming when Will brought me to my first family get together 9 years ago. You hugged me immediately walking up to Pop’s porch and told William how lucky he was to have snagged such a catch. I am actually the lucky one to have known you and your kindness. You always made me feel like more than an in law. You and your sisters remind me of my grandma and her sisters. Cornerstones. I'm so sorry for your loss.  Meeting Billie several years back was such an honor.  She always treated me with kindness, a huge smile and a big hug.  She was a precious lady.  My heart goes out to Tara and her family.

To all of you, I'm so so sorry. Billie was a true Angel on earth. She welcomed me with open arms when Robbie and I got together. There isn't a word worthy enough to describe Billie. Full of love and compassion for everyone that ever met her. Especially for me. Wonderful wonderful woman. I'm so very very sorry for each and everyone of y'all's loss.
