Beverly I Elliott

She was born on May 16, 1927, in Brownsville, Texas to the late Birdie and Dennis Elliott.

A devout Christian, Beverly attended the Westport Road Church of Christ, where she was loved and cherished by many. Beverly enjoyed singing and performing for troops with the USO in her younger years. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines for nearly 30 years. Beverly graduated summa cum laude from Abilene Christian College, where she met her future husband, Olen. Later she became a loving mother to her son, Dennis, and worked numerous jobs as a bookkeeper before retiring from Holdaway Medical Supply.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Dennis; her mother, Birdie Jane Shockley Dutcher; her husband, Olen; her sister, Eva Jeanette Riley; her brother-in-law, Robert Riley; and her nephew, Arden Elliott Lamb.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Elliott; her niece, Leesa Lamb; her nephews, Ralph and Richard Riley; her great-nieces, Amanda Knight, and Lauren Riley; her great-nephew, Kyle Riley; her great-great-niece, Harlow Knight; and her great-great-nephew, Noah Knight.

Her son Dennis would like to thank Jo Ann Smith and Marie Fiote, her devoted caregivers.

A memorial will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Arch L Heady Funeral Home at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Beverly's life and legacy.
