Betty J. Veatch

She was born and raised in Joliet, IL, where she was a member of the Lutheran Church. She was a mother and homemaker always focusing her love and strength on her family. She was active in school and community activities wherever her family resided.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James W. Veatch; beloved mother to Marilyn Kruse (Wayne), Barbara (Raj) Nagaraj, Cheryl Schornak (Tom), Robert Veatch (Sally) and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
