Betty Ann Tabor, 94, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.
Betty was a member of Beechland Baptist Church and she volunteered at Southwest Community Ministries. She worked as a seamstress for many years, and also had worked at Beth Haven Christian School as a kindergarten music teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Tabor; a daughter Rebecca Adams; and her sister, Dot Cannady. Betty is survived by her children Robin Daughtery, Julie Owens (Charlie), Jackie Lyles, Mark Tabor (Janice), and Matt Tabor (Robin); 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday. The funeral service will be livestreamed and can be accessed by visiting www.headyhardy.com.
