Betty Anderson, age 88, departed this earthly world on June 25, 2021, to be with her Heavenly Father.

She is preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Homer Anderson; and ten siblings. She is survived by her children Barbara Denise Shake and Todd Anderson; granddaughter Heather Shake; and two siblings.
Betty loved to quilt and tend to her vegetable garden, but her most treasured hobby was caring for her extensive rose garden that contains over 300 roses, earning her the nickname of “The Rose Lady of Fern Creek”. She was known for her green thumb and ability to grow anything.
Betty will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
