Bette G. Wood, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
A native of Ohio, she was the retired President of Wood Personnel. She had also worked for many years at Bacons, Dillards, and Walgreens on Dixie Hwy. She enjoyed volunteering at Kentucky Center for the Arts, Actors Theater, and the Louisville Airport.
Bette is survived by her children Sherri Hurst, Keith Lauersdorf, David Lauersdorf, Richard Lauersdorf, and Kenneth Lauersdorf; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Lauersdorf Haynes; and a brother, George Eierman.
Per her wishes, cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.
