Bertha Pitman, 88, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at her home.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband Donald Pitman, Sr, sons Donald Pitman Jr and Larry Pitman, granddaughter Becky Romans, brothers Winston Coomer and Walker Coomer Jr, and her parents Walker and Dora Coomer. Survivors include her children Brenda Popp, Linda Romans (Chris), Dora Purcell (Rocky), Walker Pitman (Jenny), Michael Pitman, Marvin Pitman, and Dale Pitman (Susie); 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd, followed by burial at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2 Sunday.
