Beatrice A. "Beedy" Poole O'Neil, 92, of Louisville, passed away peacefully into eternal life on June 5, 2016. She was a longtime active member of St. Therese Catholic Church; German-Paristown Citizen of the Year; and owner of the old O'Neil's Market.
Beedy was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth J. O'Neil, her son Raymond and daughter-in-law Barbara O'Neil.
Left cherishing her memory is her sister, Charlene Parker; her children, Jack (Joyce), Daymond (Judy), Clara, Denise (Tommy), Paul (Vickie), Paulette and Keith (Diane). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Beedy is also survived by her many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. at St. St.Therese Catholic Church, 1010 Schiller Avenue, with interment to follow in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, and also on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. till 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass of the Air.
