She was born April 22, 1936 in the Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Ray and Helen (Fritsch) McGoy.
Barbara was first employed as a Long Distance Operator for American Telephone and Telegraph Company and was a Beautician for many years at Stewart's Dry Goods.
Barbara was a member of Broadway Nazarene Church, Hikes Point Church of the Nazarene and most recently a member of Southeast Christian Church
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Otis Lee Wells; her sons; Kerry S. Wells, his wife Holly and son Spencer. Todd M. Wells his wife Melanie and their children; Emma, Nathan, Benjamin and Sage.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Burial will follow at Resthaven.
