Barbara D. Stivers 74, passed away Tuesday, June 26th 2018. Barbara was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church and retired after 25 years from Welders Supply.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Dorothy Kessenger and niece Kim Kessenger.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years Allen Stivers, children Kevin Stivers (Maria) and Paige Simpson (Larry) and grandchildren Ryan and Shea Stivers and Loren, Tyler and Zachary Simpson. Her siblings Eddie Kessenger (Janice), Shirley Wright and Kathy Ethington (Jerry) and a host of nieces and nephews, also survive her.

Visitation will be held Monday July 2nd from 2-6pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road with a funeral service to immediately follow at 6pm. A private entombment will take place in Resthaven Memorial Park.
