Barbara Jo McCauley

McCauley, Barbara Jo, 80, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was born on September 12, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Charles E. and Viola (Brown) Stinnett.

Barbara had a servant's heart, always caring for her family members and ready to help in times of need. She enjoyed shopping, bingo, and visiting with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eddie A. McCauley; sisters Betty Rhodes, Marcella McCune, Connie Summers, Linda James, Shirley Marrinan, Wanda Dorton, Kathy Stinnett; brothers David Stinnett, Charles Stinnett, and Ronald Stinnett.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry D. McCauley; son Terry L. McCauley (Peggy); six grandchildren, Jaime Doak (Wes), Nathan McCauley (Ashley), Michael McCauley, Christina Portman, Brandon McCauley, and Amanda McCauley; eight great grandchildren, Lux and Mac Werner, Annika Doak, Hudson, Myla and Easton McCauley, Kaylee and Trey Portman; sisters Wilma Rogerson (Gilbert) and Bonnie Stinnett; brothers Kenneth Stinnett and Bobby Stinnett; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 2PM to 8PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service in Barbara's honor will be held the next day, January 12, 2023 at 12PM.
