Barbara Leslie Jackson

Barbara was born August 3, 1944, just 12 minutes after her twin sister, Beverly Paulley. Barbara was preceded in death by both her mother and her father, her dear sweet twin Beverly, and her husband Harry “Danny” Daniel Jackson.

Barbara was a talented hair dresser for many years, most notably at Salon DeCouiffure. Her clients were more than customers, they were her friends, and she had a loyal following. Barbara and Danny enjoyed their church family at Suburban Christian, where Barbara once sang in the choir.

Barbara is survived by her child, Aaron Daniel Jackson; nephew, Philip Garner, who was also her caregiver; niece, Letha DeWitt; sister-in-law, Linda Jackson; dear friend, Debbie Ellis and many, many other friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Arch L. Heady at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. The service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, March 18, at the funeral home.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
