Louisville - Entered into rest on Sunday, July 8th.
She was an apartment manager for Southview Apartments and was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. She served as president of the Dixie Elementary PTA for several years and was the first PTA president for Jesse Stuart Middle School and Jesse Stuart was in attendance during the dedication.
Mrs. Carr was preceded in rest by her husband, Bernie, and a grandson, Daryl Carr, Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Daryl Carr (Linda), Nick Carr (Petronella), and Bruce Carr (Laura); eight grandchildren, DeAnne Carr, Donna Tobaben, Katrina Fullen, Christina Carr-Duvall, Tiffany Carr, Matthew Carr, Penny Stoll and Anthony Miles; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Her service will be on Friday, July 13, at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY on Monday. Visitation will be Thursday from 2pm until 8pm.
