Barbara Burress

Barbara worked for UPS and Jefferson County Government as an asbestos inspector. She loved camping with her family in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, shopping and riding motorcycles. Her true passion was her family and friends. Barbara enjoyed making special memories with each of her grandchildren and loved having them over every year to bake and decorate Christmas cookies. She was a true friend to all that knew her. Barbara was there for anyone who needing a helping hand, a dinner brought to them or a hug. She was a member of the J-town Eagles Club and the Harley Davidson Hogs.

Preceding Barbara in passing were her two sister: Bonnie Becker and Susan Young.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Paul Burress, one daughter, Cherish Barker (Teddy), one son, Paul Burress: six grandchildren: Chelsee, Jasmine, Shyann, Gavin, Kai and Kaleb and two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Jaxs: one brother in law, Rick Becker.

The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Barbara’s life will be take place in the future.
