

Austin Conrad, 29, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 19, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on November 10, 1994, in Louisville. Austin was kind, caring, intelligent, and a wonderful son, brother, grandchild, partner, and cat dad. He was remembered by many as a “gentle soul”. He had just celebrated his 29th birthday.
Austin is survived by his parents, Jon and Suzanne Conrad; sisters Alex Conrad, Lily Hamilton, and Mary Hamilton Davenport, along with brother-in-law Bryan Davenport; grandparents Fred and Linda Banks, Paul Louis and Marilyn Harpenau, and Dave and Paula Conrad; fiancée Leah Fulkerson, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Conrad, and grandparents George and Helen Myers.
Austin attended Ballard High School and later pursued higher education at the University of Louisville where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree. He worked for Stock Yards Bank and was dedicated to his career.
In his free time, Austin had a passion for the Los Angeles Lakers, U of L, video games, collectible action figures, chicken wings, betting on the Kentucky Derby, frappuccino’s, watching pro wrestling, going to the beach, and his three cats and one dog. He will be remembered for his hilarious and carefree personality.
Services for Austin will be held at Arch L. Heady funeral home, located at 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 27, from 4 pm to 8 pm, followed by the funeral service on Tuesday, November 28, at 11:10 am at Arch L. Heady funeral home. A graveside service for the family will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

A special note of gratitude is expressed to his aunt, Lynne Dukes, for caring for him when he was at Baptist Health Louisville over this past year.
