He is a graduate of Nelson County High School, a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington, Kentucky, and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard and the U.S. Marine Corp.
His father Russell Gowin precedes Tony in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Timothy Fleming.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date.
