Annie Louise Schott, 98, of Louisville, died peacefully with family by her side on June 13, 2013. Annie was the proprietor of Ann's Variety Store and a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed raising Araucana chickens on her farm. Annie also loved to sew and knit.
Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Bill Epperson, her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sandra Schott; granddaughters Denise Epperson, M.D., Tracy Fischer, M.D. (John) and Elizabeth Schott, J.D.; great-granddaughters Greer and Grace Fischer; sisters Rosemary and Mabel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 am, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Monday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Annie's numerous caregivers throughout the years, and more recently, the staff at Meadowview, Dr. Jane Cornett and Angie Ethridge, NP, and her Hosparus teams and volunteers. A special thanks to Edwina Cook, Annie's faithful caregiver and friend.
