Amelia is preceded in death by her aunt, Anitra Whalen and her cousin, Cameron Shoulders.
Despite her short time on earth she was loved deeply and brought joy to those around her. Amelia was a fighter! She met her parent’s goals to come home by her first birthday. She enjoyed watching Moana and Grey’s Anatomy, bath time, kisses, being called princess and dancing with her father to Frank Sinatra.
The pandemic gave her parents time to bond and make memories.
Left too cherish her memory are her parents, Heather & Joe Jackson; brother, Malcom Jackson; Neapolitan Granny’s, Mary Koon “Vanilla Granny”, Beulah Cole “Strawberry Granny”, Beverly Jackson “Chocolate Granny”; grandfather, Bobby Jackson; Auntie Jenny, Aunt Julanta Jackson, Aunt Felicia Jackson; Uncle Chad, Uncle John Cole, Uncle Lamont Varner; cousins Nick, Josh and Katie; Godmother/Father, James Brown and Godmother, Tare “Thumper” Hall and extended family from Norton’s Children Hospital.
Amelia will forever be Daddy’s Girl and Mommy’s World!
A visitation will be held on Saturday June 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Amelia’s honor will begin immediately at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
