Al was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alvina Riecks Webb; step-mother Mary "Kim" Webb and grandson, Jacob Davis.
Al is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Parker Webb; children, Jeff (Marsha) Webb and Dawn (Dale) Davis; grandchildren, Stephanie, Nathan, McKenna and Haley; brother, Allen (Gayle) Webb; step-sisters Susan, Carol and Jean Webb; step-brother David (Mary Moffatt) Webb and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Al graduated from Elmhurst College (IL) and spent his career as a Director of Human Resources. Due to his career moves, the family lived in Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia and Delaware.
At the age of 57 he and Barbara retired to Florida. After being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2008, Al and Barbara moved back to Kentucky to be near family. Al's relationship with our Lord was very special to him all his life. He was baptized in the Lutheran church, confirmed in the United Church of Christ and received in the Episcopal Church when he married Barbara. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Anchorage, KY, where he sang with the contemporary music group "Reflections". Al loved photography, had his own developing lab and won many awards in local photography clubs. He was a Master Gardener through the University of Florida and loved caring for his own yard and the Memorial Garden at Good Shepherd Church in Venice, FL. He and Barbara loved to travel and were able to visit many states and countries during his life.
Visitation will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 1206 Maple Lane, Friday, October 13, 2017, 3-7 pm. A Celebration of Al's life will be at 3:00 pm Saturday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn. or St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Anchorage, KY.
