Alma Mae Mudd

She was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church and retired from GE. She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who loved traveling, music, card games, spending time with her family, and, most of all, the Lord!

In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her husbands, Nathan Houglin and Ira Mudd; sister, Lucille Eatherly; her twin sister, Edna Moore Hayes; and brothers, Charles, Richard, George, and Joseph Samuels.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Donna Houglin Noe (Everett) and Linda Houglin; grandchildren, Chad Noe (Tera), Tammy Brewer, Toby Noe; great-grandchildren Haleigh & Nathan Noe, Kyle & Cassidy Brewer, Zackary, Cody, and Max Noe; great-great-grandchildren, Gunnar Noe and Braxton Stone; and brother, Donald Samuels (Jeanne).

The family would like to extend a special thanks to dear family friend, Jeanine Hall, and the team at Hosparus: Tiffany, Robin, Tracie, and Connie.

Visitations will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 1 pm - 8 pm and Wednesday, September 28 from 10 am - 12 pm, with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will follow the funeral service at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213.
