Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on Saturday, October 11, 1941 to parents, Herbert McPeek & Prudence Cornwell. Alma was a member of St. Joseph of the Basilica Catholic Church and the Seniors Club of Bardstown. She was a retired Nurse from Jewish Hospital. She loved BINGO, going to the boat & many trips to Corydon, Indiana.
Besides her parents, Herbert & Prudence McPeek; her husbands, Larry Hall & Robert Buckley precede Alma in her passing.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa (Travis) Black; grandchildren, Chris Glenn & Sara (Austin Ebersold) Glenn; 6 – great – grandchildren; her brother, Robert McPeek; her partner, Gordon McFelia; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn her passing.
In lieu of flowers & customary expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to WHAS Crusade for Children or St. Jude.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Alma will be laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where she will rest for eternity with Travis Black, Chris Glenn & Austin Ebersold serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
